It was one year ago today that we first met Ava...

And what a wonderful year it has been!

August 2010- Started thinking about adoption again! 11/29/10- first homestudy meeting * 12/7/10- received email from Rainbowkids.com re: Dongyue *12/11/10- second homestudy meeting *12/8/10- Locked her file, sent LOI (Letter of Intent) and started working with Wasatch *12/17/10- Received PA (pre-approval) from CCAA to adopt Dongyue! *12/29/10- Homestudy visits done *01/11/11- Sent Contract to Wasatch *02/11/11- Final Homestudy Written and Approved * 02/11/11- I-800A Sent to USCIS
*2/14/11 Received at USCIS *03/03/03- Sent Revised Homestudy to USCIS *03/04/11 - Dossier to Agency w/out I-800A Approval *03/09/11- Fingerprinting done *04/05/11- I-800 A Approval *04/09/11- Received I-800A approval in mail *04/15/11 -Dossier To China *5/10/11 - Logged in Dossier *7/27/11- Letter of Approval- *07/28/11 I-800 Submission - *08/01/11 I-800 Received- *08/15/11 I-800 Approved- *08/24/11 NVC Letter- *09/9/11 Article 5- * 9/28/11 Travel Approval-
